The simulator allows the exchange of information and communications, the preparation and dispatch of customs documents relating to an entire process of importing goods from an extra-European country to a Community country. The interaction between 4 different parties is foreseen, aiming to coordinate them to clear and deliver the goods to the final recipient.
The simulated process refers to the task mainly carried out by Clerk for customs practices, even though the user can simulate the task carried out by Customs agent, Forwarder and final customer.
A manual for use and installation comes with the tool as well as the list of skills and knowledge that can be acquired through its use. Moreover, the tool includes a training manual that provides definitions, terminology, data and information for both contextualize the process and integrate the training content.
