The simulator faithfully replicates a warehouse management system (WMS – Warehouse Management Software), allowing the input of data related to the load units (pallets and packages) and the related goods received and stored at the warehouse. Similarly, the drawing up of the picking lists and shipping orders is allowed. The “simulated” management system allows the use of real instruments (barcode reader, printer for labels) in case of availability of training laboratories.
The simulated process refers to the task mainly carried out by the Warehouse logistics technician/employee.
A manual for use and installation comes with the tool as well as the list of skills and knowledge that can be acquired through its use. Moreover, the tool includes a training manual that provides definitions, terminology, data and information for both contextualize the process and integrate the training content.
